Education is constantly in the news. Hot button issues come and go. Yet much of the coverage feels superficial or incomplete. I find myself searching for additional information to develop a clearer understanding.
In each edition of this newsletter, I’ll dive deep into a specific issue and share what I learn. I’ve been doing this sort of analysis for a couple decades as a non-profit leader in the education sector. You’ll get my best attempt to cut through the clutter.

Who is Tim Daly?
Not the handsome devil who starred on Wings and The Sopranos. I’m the education Daly. I taught middle school in Baltimore before joining - and eventually co-leading - TNTP. In 2015, I helped launch EdNavigator, where I currently serve as CEO.
